Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 6001 Bissonnet Street about 12:05 a.m. today (July 11).
The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males in their 20s. Surveillance photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:
The victim and another man, 26, had just left a restaurant at the above address when two unknown male suspects approached and started shooting at them. The victim was struck and died at the scene. The other male escaped uninjured. The suspects fled on foot eastbound on Bissonnet.
At this time, there is no known motive. The suspects and the victims appear to have had no involvement prior to the shooting.
