Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 14805 Grisby Road about 3:45 p.m. on Thursday (May 6).
The victim, 20, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. Kimbrough reported:
The victim and a known male suspect, 22, were inside her apartment at the above address when they got into an altercation. Two friends of the suspect showed up and the victim left the apartment. The first suspect then went outside the apartment and pointed a gun at the woman and her friend who was picking her up in the parking lot. The suspect’s two friends also came outside and fired multiple shots at the victim’s vehicle, striking her at least one time.
The suspects – two males and a female – then fled in an unknown direction. Paramedics were called and transported the victim to the hospital. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
