| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6403 McKinstry Boulevard about 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday (May 5).
The victim, Andre Gilliam, 17, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Castellanos and Z. Brumley reported:
Mr. Gilliam was inside his residence when he was struck by a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting. The suspect was described only as a male in a black vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
