Houston police have learned the identity of a shooting victim found at 1000 Pinemont Drive about 6:55 a.m. Friday (April 16).
The victim has been identified as Jerry Bradley, 51. He was transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in critical condition and, on Saturday (April 17), he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Officer D. Hobson and R. Rivera reported:
Officers responded to a drive-by shooting and learned Mr. Bradley was driving westbound on Pinemont Drive when he was approached by the suspect vehicle. The suspect inside the vehicle began shooting into the Bradley’s car and then fled the scene. Bradley suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Witnesses described the suspect only as a heavy-set black male in a white, newer model SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Suburban.
