| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 2820 Clementine Street about 12:50 p.m. on Saturday (April 3).
The victim, Thomas Smith, 62, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Combs and M. Althaus reported:
HPD officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned Mr. Smith was in his backyard when an known suspect approached and shot him. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Smith to the hospital.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
