Charges have been filed against a suspect in a shooting at 13823 Aspen Hollow Lane about 7 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 1).
The suspect, Gary Prince Lee (b/m, 41), is charged with terroristic threat in Harris County Criminal Court 13. Lee was shot in the incident and transported to an area hospital. A booking photo of Lee is not available at this time.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Golden reported:
Officers were advised that Lee threatened the life of his stepfather, 74. When the stepfather called 911, Lee walked by him and stated he had something for him. Lee then retrieved a backpack and walked toward his stepfather at a swift pace. In response, the stepfather unholstered his gun and discharged his firearm twice, striking Lee one time in the chest. Paramedics transported Lee to the hospital.
