Houston police have released surveillance photos of suspects wanted for the fatal shooting of a man at 7026 Lawndale Street that occurred about 9:50 p.m. on Thursday (December 4).
The victim, Sacramento Pena-Gutierrez, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects are described only as three male suspects. Surveillance photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Dudley and M. Arrington reported:
Mr. Pena-Gutierrez was working at the above location as a security guard and was standing outside when he was approached by the suspects. The suspects exited a newer-model, black Chevrolet pickup truck, and approached Pena-Gutierrez. Two of the suspects then shot and killed him after shining a flashlight in the his face. All three suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction immediately after the shooting.
