Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 6150 West Tidwell Road about 8 p.m. on Tuesday (November 24).
The identity of the victim, 14, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
According to witnesses, the victim got into a verbal altercation with an adult male suspect. The argument escalated and multiple shots were fired at the victim and another black male, who was not struck. The suspect was seen getting into a vehicle, described only as a silver sedan, and fleeing from the location.
The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years of age.
