| A man injured in a crash at that occurred 8400 Wilcrest Drive about 4:50 p.m. on November 2 has died.
The identity of the victim, 56, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer M. Mares reported:
The driver of a Dodge 1500 pickup truck was traveling westbound near the above address when he struck the victim, who was on a bicycle traveling eastbound through the intersection of Wilcrest Drive and Spice Lane. The victim was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where, on Saturday (November 7), doctors pronounced him deceased.
The driver of the Dodge, who remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.
At this time, it has not been determined if the victim’s death was caused by injuries sustained in the crash or other medical reasons. The investigation is continuing.
