| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7300 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 11:25 a.m. on Sunday (October 18).
The identity of the male victim, 44, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer M. Lares reported:
The victim was operating an orange Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on the Gulf Freeway and exited to the 610 East Loop connector ramp at a high rate of speed. The victim lost control of the motorcycle, went airborne off the ramp and landed on the service road. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The investigation is continuing.
