Investigation into Shooting at 4822 Martin Luther King Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the shooting of three males at 4822 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 3:30 a.m. on Monday (September 7).

The males suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were transported by private vehicle to an area hospital.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant T. Ferraro and Detective J. Duran reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a nightclub at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found a security guard working at that location had been shot at by unknown suspects from two vehicles.  The security guard returned fire and the occupants of both vehicles, described only as a black vehicle and a white vehicle, fled the scene.

The black vehicle was found a few blocks away with evidence that it had been involved in the shooting.  While patrol officers were on the scene, they were informed three males with gunshot wounds had arrived at an area hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
