The City of Houston’s Emergency Operations Center is no longer activated in response to Laura, which made landfall in Cameron, LA early this morning as a Category 4 Hurricane. There have been no reported impacts to Houston.
Houstonians who evacuated are free to safely return home. Residents can report any fallen trees and tree limbs blocking the road to 3-1-1 or 713.837.0311 or email #[email protected].
Non-essential city employees are returning to their normal working schedule today, and all city offices will be open. Solid waste collection, Municipal Courts and City Parks are scheduled to resume normal operations.
