| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 4700 Ward Street about 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday (May 13).
The victim, 20, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Thornton and A. Barker reported:
The victim got into a verbal altercation with the mother of his children at the above address. Witnesses stated the female told a suspect to shoot the victim. The suspect then shot the victim in the upper back and paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
The suspect(s) fled in a vehicle described only as a white, four-door vehicle.
