Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal stabbing of one man and wounding of another at 5700 Bellaire Boulevard about 1:45 a.m. on Saturday (Dec. 28).
The suspects, Kevin D. Walker (b/m, 33) and Valerie Walker (b/f, 49), are both charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 263rd State District Court. Booking photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased victim, 19, who sustained multiple stab wounds, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Roberts, M. Arrington and J. Escobar reported:
Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call at the above address and were advised that four individuals were involved in a fight that ended with two males being stabbed. Paramedics transported one of the victims to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The second injured man, 19, initially fled the scene. He was later found by Bellaire Police Department officers and transported to area hospital.
Two individuals, Kevin Walker and Valerie Walker, were detained at the scene. They were questioned and subsequently charged in the incident.
