HPD Homicide Division Sergeants S. Murdock and H. Hay reported:
Mr. Granados was walking home from a friend’s house and called his sister to pick him up. She put her baby in the car and drove to pick up her brother. As they returned home to their parent’s house, they realized they were being followed by a vehicle. They drove past their parents’ house and onto Uvalde Road. As they were making a U-turn to try to lose the following vehicle, the suspects sped up to get around them and began shooting into the passenger side of the car, fatally striking Granados. His sister and her baby were not injured.
