HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective T. Andrade reported:
Four males drove the victim to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and told officers the victim was shot near Force Street.
An adult male resident of a home in the 13300 block of Force Street reported shooting at a group of suspects, just before midnight, when he went to investigate what he believed was someone shooting at his residence. Other residents reported seeing multiple suspects in the front yard before the suspects fled in multiple vehicles, with at least one vehicle matching the description of the vehicle used to transport the victim to the hospital.
Investigators found evidence the residence may have been shot multiple times with a paint ball gun and are currently speaking with multiple individuals who may have been with the victim at the time of the shooting.
At this time, there are no arrests or charges in the incident.
