Three suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a baby boy at 5400 Braes Valley about 1:30 p.m. on June 14 are in custody.
Investigators determined a third suspect in the shooting incident is in jail on an unrelated charge. Because he has not been charged in the Braes Valley incident at this time, his identity is not being released.
One suspect, Kravon Human (b/m, 20), is charged with capital murder in the 208th State District Court. Another suspect, Jared Alexander Balogun (b/m, 24), is charged with capital murder in the 184th State District Court. Both are charged for their roles in the killing of Messiah Marshall, 10 months old.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer J. Roscoe reported:
A male, 22, stated he was taking out his trash and helping his infant son, Messiah, walk when three unknown black male suspects approached him. When one of the suspects started shooting, the man grabbed his son and began running. The child was struck. His father flagged down an officer and paramedics were called. Messiah was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further investigation led to the identities of Kravon Human and Jared Balogun as two suspects in this case. Balogun was arrested on June 19 and remains in custody in the Harris County Jail. Human was arrested on Tuesday (June 27) without incident.
