3rd UPDATE: Second Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2017 Fatal Shooting at 16100 Blue Ridge Road

Charges have been filed against a second suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 16100 Blue Ridge Road about 3 p.m. on October 7, 2017.

The suspect, John Coleman (b/m, 30), is charged with murder in the 184th State District Court.  A booking photo of Coleman is attached to this news release.

Coleman’s brother, Deshaun St. Julien (b/m, 33), was previously arrested and charged with murder in this case in the 179th State District Court.  A booking photo of St. Julien is also attached to this news release.

The female victim, Cloatee Hubbard, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Thomas and Officer R. Moss reported:

A passerby discovered the victim, later identified as Ms. Hubbard, lying in a field at the above address and contacted authorities.  Hubbard had been shot multiple times.

Further investigation identified Coleman as the second suspect in this case and he was arrested without incident at the Harris County Adult Probation Office on May 27.

Coleman’s brother, Deshaun St. Julien, was previously arrested without incident on February  23.
