3 New Neighborhood Flood Relief Centers Are Opening

The city and non-profit organizations are opening three new neighborhood flood relief centers, bringing to 12 the total number of sites where residents can seek assistance close to where they live.

The new Neighborhood Restoration Centers are:

East Aldine

The locations are operated in conjunction with the BakerRipley non-profit.

The centers are places where residents of a particular community can connect to resources that help them in their recovery from Hurricane Harvey as well as establish plans for resiliency of their neighborhood. The centers provide assistance with housing, furniture, employment, sorting out aid from FEMA, and more.

Houston residents in need of assistance related to Harvey recovery but cannot come to the center are asked to call 877-541-7905 so that a trained case manager can connect them to recovery services.
