Two of three suspects wanted and charged in the assault of a woman at 3215 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610) service road about 1:05 a.m. last Friday (May 17) are in custody.
The two suspects, Brianecia Brown (b/f, 20) and Ebony Robinson (b/f, 22), were taken into custody today (May 22) and are charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury in the 185th State District Court. The third suspect, Desmond Wardlow (b/m, 24), charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury in the same court, remains at large.
All three are charged for their roles in the assault of Melissa Reed, 28, who was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Ragsdale and C. Grahmann reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at a gas station at the above address. A preliminary investigation indicated Ms. Reed was assaulted by at least three suspects known to her. The suspects struck Reed with their hands, feet and a hammer and then fled the scene.
Further investigation developed information on the identities of the three suspects and, on Monday (May 20), charges were filed on them. Robinson and Brown were taken into custody today (May 22) without incident.
