2nd UPDATE: Two Additional Suspects Arrested, Charged, in 2020 Fatal Shooting at 10616 Meadowglen Lane

Charges have been filed against two additional suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 10616 Meadowglen Lane about 4:35 p.m. on April 24, 2020.

Ruben Hernandez, 21, and Jorge Parada, 23, are charged with murder in the 228th State District Court.

Two other suspects, Jordan Parks, 22, and Angelica Yuriko Soto, 22, were previously arrested and charged with murder in the 232nd and 178th State District Courts, respectively.  All four suspects are accused in the death of Nelson Bueso, 17.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Pickett and R. Waterwall reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and were met by Mr. Bueso, who stated he had been shot.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Bueso to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At that time, witnesses reported seeing two males and two females fleeing the scene of the shooting.

Further investigation identified Parks and Soto as suspects in this case.  Parks was charged in May 2020 while in custody for an unrelated offense.  Soto was charged on Wednesday (Jan. 21) and was also in custody for an unrelated offense. At that time, two unidentified male suspects remained at large.

Subsequent investigation identified Hernandez and Parada as the two wanted suspects and, on October 10, 2022, both were charged for their involvement.

On October 18, 2022, Hernandez was taken into custody without incident.  Parada was determined to be in custody in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) on an unrelated offense and, on Monday (January 30), he was transferred to the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
