2nd UPDATE: Suspect Charged, Wanted in March Fatal Shooting at 10815 Beechnut Street

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of three men at 100815 Beechnut Street about 5:40 a.m. on March 19.

The suspect, Jordy Barrios, 21, is charged with capital murder in the 209th State District Court.  Photos of Barrios, who is not in custody, are attached to this news release.

The victims are identified as Jorge Vazquez, 30, Gerardo Filomeno, 30 and Cesar Villalon, 39.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call in a strip center parking lot at the above address and found the three victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene.

Investigators learned the victims were engaged in a possible argument with an unknown Hispanic male, who was accompanied by an unknown Hispanic female. They both fled the scene after the shooting.

Further investigation identified the suspect as Barrios and, on Wednesday (August 30), a capital murder charge was filed against him.  The female was determined to be a witness and is not expected to be charged at this time.
