WHAT: 2-Alarm warehouse fire.
WHEN: November 7, 2024, at 3:04 p.m.
WHERE: 3300 Bingle Rd. 77055.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $3,000,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a large warehouse with fire coming from pallets of bulk stock outside the building. They made an offensive attack and reported heavy fire inside the warehouse. A second alarm was called and the fire rapidly spread. Crews switched to a defensive attack and evacuated a large homeless camp near the structure. CenterPoint responded and turned off the utilities. The Houston Police Department responded for traffic control. HFD Hazardous Materials monitored the air quality and runoff. Both were negative. Firefighters rotated until the fire was fully controlled and extinguished. Crews remained on scene for Firewatch until the scene was cleared. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 165 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 13, 58, 50, 2, 4, 5, 28, 31, 3, 6, 11, 30, 38, 42, 48, 49, 57, 62, 75, 77, 16, 34, 67, 90, Hazmat 66, Heavy Rescue 11, Rescue 10 and Rehab 42.
