WHAT: 2-Alarm High-Rise Apartment Garage Fire

PROPERTY SAVED: More than $51,900,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $25,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find water flowing and smoke showing from a fourth-floor garage of a high-rise apartment building. A second alarm was requested the and the occupancies were checked and clear of smoke. A sprinkler over a vehicle kept the fire in check until firefighters fully extinguished it. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause. Crews from Stations 15, 23, 6, 8, 19, 20, 34, 7, 9, 17, 18, 25, 16, 18, 15, 24, 30 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
