WHAT: 2-Alarm apartment fire.
WHEN: June 24, 2024, at 3:17 p.m.
WHERE: 206 Plaza Verde Dr. 77038.
INJURIES: Two civilians were transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene with fire coming from the firth floor balcony of an apartment building. They rescued several residents from the balcony and made an attack on the fire. Two residents were transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. The building was ventilated and a second-alarm was requested. The crews rotated to control the fire and conducted searches, insuring everyone was safely out of the building. Two firefighters were evaluated on scene. The power company arrived on scene to secure the utilities. The American Red Cross was notified and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 92 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 30, 50, 15, 4, 31, 34, 13, 58, 64, 67, 74, 84, 96, 6, 62, 105, 11, Heavy Rescue 11, Rescue 42 and Rehab 8.
