UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in May Fatal Shooting at 3703 McHard Road

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 3703 McHard Road about 10:45 p.m. on Saturday (May 11).

The suspect, Isaiah White, 19, is charged with murder in the 268th District Court in Fort Bend County. A booking photo of White is attached to this news release.

He is accused in the death of Rafique B. George, 38, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Persad and Detectives L. Gonzales and A. Farmer reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of a business at the above address and found an unresponsive man with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim, later identified as Mr. George, deceased.

Further investigation led to the identification of White as a suspect in this case. On Saturday (June 15), members of the HPD SWAT and South Gessner Patrol Division Crime Suppression Teams arrested White without incident.
