A suspect wanted and charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 14711 Main Street about 5:30 p.m. on May 28, 2023 is in custody.
The suspect, Joshua Lashun McWilliam, 32, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. A 2020 booking photo of McWilliam is attached to this news release.
He is accused in death of Larenzo Terrell, 33.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Brooks and J. Gardner reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call and found the victim in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation identified the suspect as McWilliam and, on June 7, 2023, he was charged for his role in the shooting.
Last Friday (June 15) McWilliam was arrested in Texas City by members of the Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force without incident.
