CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from a first-floor patio spreading to the second floor of a 2-story apartment complex. The fire was upgraded to a second alarm, and they made an attack on the fire and ventilated the apartment. A primary search was completed with no one found. The crews extinguished the fire in the living room and patio area. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 78 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 10, 69, 2, 68, 10, 51, 73, 76, 83, 37, 57, Heavy Rescue 11, Rescue 10 and Rehab 17.
