Houston police have learned the identity of a shooting victim found at 1800 St. Elmo Street about 2 p.m. on Monday (April 5).
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has identified the victim as Daniel Angel Gutierrez, 34.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a meet the firefighter call at the above address. Upon arrival, they were directed to where the victim (Mr. Gutierrez) was found lying in a ditch along the side of the road. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
There is no known motive or suspect(s) at this time.
