Charges have been filed against two suspects in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9501 Beechnut about 5:05 a.m. on February 6, 2016.

The suspects, Cristian Enamorado, aka Adalberto Martinez, (H/m, 21) and Roger Fernando Avila-Godinez (H/m, 21), are charged with capital murder in the 338th State District Court.  A March 2017 photo of Enamorado is attached to this news release.  A photo of Avila-Godinez is not available at this time.

The victim, Jonatan Casimiro-Flores, 30, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Burrow and R. Rodriguez reported:

Mr. Casimiro-Flores and his roommate were sitting in their car, outside their apartment, preparing to go to work.  Two male suspects confronted them and robbed them at knifepoint.  Mr. Casimiro-Flores struggled with one of the suspects and was stabbed multiple times.  Both suspects then fled the scene.

Enamorado is currently in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on an unrelated robbery case.  Avila-Godinez is currently in federal custody on an unrelated incident.
