UPDATE: Surveillance Video, Photos of Person of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 7750 Drouet Street

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of two females found at 7750 Drouet Street about 1:55 p.m. on June 12.  

Surveillance video of the person of interest, identified as Hector Birriel, 51, and seen inside the victims’ apartment, can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/veRQxJDowrQ.  Photos of Birriel and his vehicle, described as a white 2012 Nissan Rogue with no hubcaps, are attached to this news release.

The victims have been identified as Lesli Reyes Erazo, 35, and her daughter, Eslie Jimenez Erazo, 16.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victims in a bedroom of their apartment.  Both had been fatally shot.

Further investigation identified Birriel as a person of interest in this case.  Investigators would like to speak with Birriel, who has not been charged, regarding information he may have on the incident.
