Houston police have learned the identity of a person found deceased at 6550 Hillcroft Avenue about 8:30 a.m. last Friday (May 28).
The victim is identified as Leondra Addis, 41, of the above address. An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined she had suffered stab wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Caten and M. Barrow reported:
Officers responded to a report of an individual found deceased inside a dumpster at an apartment complex at the above address. A tenant made the discovery and then notified the apartment complex front office. The victim was found wrapped in a tarp or hard plastic wrapping.
Further investigation and an autopsy determined the victim’s identity as Ms. Addis, who resided at the apartment complex.
At this time, there is no known witnesses or suspect in the incident.
