A juvenile male shot at 2525 Old Farm Road about 4:25 p.m. on Monday (October 26) has died.
The victim, Dominic Sumicek, 11, was pronounced deceased on Wednesday (Oct. 28). A second male victim, 41, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lange and M. Estep reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address and found the two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics declared the adult victim deceased and transported the juvenile victim to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspects, described only as three black males, entered the apartment complex on foot, approached the victims and then shot at them multiple times. The suspects ran to a nearby black Pontiac sedan and fled in an unknown direction.
