Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally shot at 2205 Hayes Road at about 3:25 a.m. on Wednesday (March 7).
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has identified the victim as Goddy Chika, 44, of the above address.
HPD Homicide Division Detective T. Tyler reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Chika, with multiple gunshot wounds, lying in the parking lot. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased. According to witnesses, loud screaming was heard followed by several gunshots. A dark-colored, four-door sedan was seen fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
