Suspect Sought in Hit and Run Crash at 2300 Vance Street

HPD Investigators are seeking information on the driver who struck a female in a hit-and-run crash at 2300 Vance about 12:10 a.m. on August 7.

The victim, 83, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officers D. Nguyen and V. Nguyen reported:

According to witnesses, the victim knocked on their door at the above address. When they were able to open their door a few moments later, they saw the victim standing in the street, where she was struck by a vehicle. The suspect fled the scene with stopping or rendering aid to the victim. The victim was transported by paramedics to the hospital with a broken leg and wrist.

The vehicle is described only as a silver or white Ford F-150 pickup truck.
