Suspect Sought in Fatal Shooting at 15829 Ridgeroe Lane

Houston police are asking for the pubic’s help in locating a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a male at 15829 Ridgeroe Lane about 2 p.m. last Friday (September 20).

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 6 feet tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds.  He has a dark complexion, facial hair and long dread locks.  A photo of the wanted suspect is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim on the driveway of the residence.  He had been shot multiple times.  Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots from where the victim was discovered.

The suspect, who was living with the victim, was seen fleeing the scene on foot prior to officers’ arrival.
