Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 17030 Imperial Valley Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman at 17030 Imperial Valley Drive about 6 a.m. on July 13.

The suspect, Alberto Ayala Guerrero (H/m, 55), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court.  A photo of Ayala-Guerrero is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Yenisleydi Dominguez, 32.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Ms. Dominguez deceased inside her apartment.  She had been shot.

A preliminary investigation determined Dominguez’s brother -in-law, Ayala-Guerrero, initially assaulted his wife and his brother-in-law, who were staying at Dominguez’s apartment.  Ayala-Guerrero then shot Dominguez.  He fled the scene on foot and is possibly driving a white Kenworth dump truck with no license plates.
