Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 6710 Hendon Lane about 7 p.m. on Tuesday (July 17).
The suspect, Cristhian Martinez (H/m, 24), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 351st State District Court. A photo of Martinez is attached to this news release.
The victim, Armado Miranda, 42, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Officers J. Russell and K. Saulsberry reported:
Martinez shot Mr. Miranda multiple times following a confrontation between the two men at an apartment complex at the above address. Officers arrested Martinez and he was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.
