Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the death of a child found at 13826 Holly Lynn Lane about 7 p.m. last Friday (Nov. 30).
The suspect, Lihui Liu (A/f, 43), is charged with capital murder in the 185th State District Court for her role in the killing of her five-year-old son.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Terry and T. Fay reported:
Officers were dispatched to a cutting just occurred call at a residence at the above address and spoke with Liu and other witnesses. Upon entering the home, officers were advised Liu’s son was deceased with major trauma. Liu was detained and subsequently charged in the child’s death.
