Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 10300 Ney about 1 a.m. today (Dec. 4).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in her 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:
A passerby found the victim unresponsive lying in the street at the above address. The victim had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
