Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a male at 9101 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 10:35 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 8).
The victim, 32, was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Carroll and J. De La Torre reported:
The victim and a male known to him (suspect) arrived at the above address in their own vehicles. They parked near each other and began to argue. The males got out of their vehicles and the argument escalated. When the victim attempted to strike the suspect, the suspect stabbed him several times in the upper body. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle, while the victim was transported by a private vehicle to the hospital.
