| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5502 El Camino del Rey that occurred about 7 p.m. on Sunday (November 29).
The victim, Wilfredo Nix-Cutzal, 26, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Cimeni reported:
Mr. Nix-Cutzal was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address. Witnesses reported seeing four males in a four-door sedan drive by and then stop near Nix-Cutzal’s vehicle.. The four males exited the sedan, approached Nix-Cutzal and shot him in the head and the right shoulder. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. HFD paramedics transported Nix-Cutzal to the hospital.
