| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 5306 Antha Street about 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday (January 23).
The victim, Jazman Evans, 18, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer M. Althaus reported:
Two unknown suspects, armed and wearing masks, knocked on the door of the above residence, but the homeowner was not present. The suspects then returned to their vehicle. When the homeowner returned, he and the suspects exchanged gunfire, but neither was struck. As the suspects fired in the direction of the homeowner, Ms. Evans was struck.in the back as she walked in the street. The suspects fled the scene in a white Pontiac Grand Prix with unknown license plates.
