Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 3998 Liberty about 2:10 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 23).
The victim, Luciano Locander, 34, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers Z. Brumley and .M. Althaus reported:
Mr. Locander was walking along the sidewalk on Liberty Road when an older model, dark colored, 4-door sedan pulled up next to him. The passenger then pulled out a gun and shot at him several times from inside the vehicle. Locander was struck in the left and right legs and is expected to survive his injuries. He stated the suspect was known to him. The investigation is continuing.
