Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 3501 Liberty Road about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (March 13).
The victim, Jamarcus Butler, 40, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Ferrell and A. Hernandez reported:
Officers responded to a shooting at the Liberty Food Mart at the above address and found Mr. Butler inside his vehicle. According to witnesses, Butler was in his vehicle in the parking lot having a discussion with an unknown male suspect. The suspect then fired a handgun into the driver’s side front window, striking Butler. The suspect then fled in a white, four-door vehicle.
