Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12929 Orleans Street about 1:15 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 23).
The victim, 35, sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and C. Bowling reported:
Officers responded to a drive-by shooting at a residence at the above address and learned that an unknown suspect(s) inside a light colored, four-door sedan fired shots at the residence and then fled the scene. The victim was struck and transported by paramedics to the hospital.
