Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 120 South Wayside Drive that occurred about 9 p.m. on Sunday (April 11).
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and A. Ferrell reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot at the above address and found the victim suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to the hospital by paramedics where he is in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the nature and circumstances of the shooting.
