| Houston police are investigating the death of a man at 8218 Minnesota Street about 12:10 a.m. on Thursday (July 1).
The deceased man is identified as Josue Trejo-Garcia, 32.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant P. Buttitta and Detectives J. Moreno and C. Walker reported:
HPD officers responded to a report of a citizen holding a suspect at a residence at the above address. Officers arrived and detained the suspect, later identified as Trejo-Garcia, who exhibited symptoms of narcotics use. Officers then called Houston Fire Department paramedics to the scene. Trejo-Garcia was then transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where he was stabilized.
Later that evening (July 1), doctors pronounced Trejo-Garcia deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
