Investigation into Man’s Death at 310 Main Street

Houston police are investigating the death of a man following an incident at 310 Main Street about 11:55 p.m. on Saturday (June 19).

The identity of the victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detective C. Bowling and Officer H. Horne reported:

Witnesses stated the victim, believed to be homeless, initiated a physical fight with a bouncer of a bar at the above address.  During the altercation, the male sustained multiple blunt force trauma to the head.  Paramedics transported the man to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

At this time, no charges have been filed.
