Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 6345 Windswept Lane about 4:45 a.m. today (Dec. 15).
The identity of the victim, believed to be 40 to 50 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Villareal and J. Young reported:
Officers responded to a call reporting a death outside a business at the above address and found the victim lying on the sidewalk and unresponsive. Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The man had apparent bruising to his face.
Further investigation determined a passerby had noticed the man lying on the sidewalk about 2 a.m., but did not witness any incident.
